Industry folks who’ve heard it say this is a “career defining album” for Robert, and his career has certainly been long and accomplished. The title track is a salute to Eric Andersen, one of the most enduring folk singers to rise from the ‘60s Greenwich Village movement, and Eric joins Robert for a special guest appearance on the song. Robert will be opening for Eric in October at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY, and you can bet that’s only the first time they’ll be sharing a live stage.
The album runs the gamut from folk to rock with plenty in-between, and is a high priority release at Ryko.
Continue to check YouTube.com for new live video and interview footage, shot in the spring at Camp Jam (full band) and the Sellersville Theater (solo acoustic). And if you have not yet signed on as a MySpace friend, what are you waiting for? More of the new album can be heard when you see Robert Hazard LIVE!
