Tales From Camp Lure - January 2005 |
|
In the meanwhile, I’m writing songs and preparing for upcoming shows. I’ve got a great weekend coming up: Friday, February 11th, me and the band will be returning to the Steel City Coffehouse in Phoenixville, PA, and on Saturday, February 12th, me and Larry Broido do an acoustic evening at Mexicali Blues in Teaneck, New Jersey. The Dynamic Duo strikes again on Sunday evening, February 13th, when we will appear on WXPN’s “Gene Shay Show,” heard in Philly ‘n’ Harrisburg, PA, ‘n’ Maryland. Turn on your radios at 8 p.m. EST or listen live online around the globe at http://xpn.org/listen.php! This will be adventurous live and off the cuff, with interviews and lots of music. I can’t wait to see you all again. The bars, concert halls, and coffee shops have all been wonderful experiences for me. I’ve met so many great people, and I love playing my music face to face. Try to get out to Steel City. The place is wonderful. And so are the people there. Mexicali Blues will be an exciting new experience. It’s a legendary roots club just outside of New York. I’m sure we’ll make some new friends up there as well.Gene Shay is an old friend. I have not appeared on his show for quite a few years. It will be great to talk to him. So ‘til then, I’ll see you on the road. Stay warm, my little turtle doves. Love and peace, - Robert Hazard Previous Newsletters:
